How can I add an icon for TurboLaw Cloud to my desktop or Start menu?

TurboLaw Cloud uses the Remote Desktop Connection app to connect - this application is built-in to Windows itself. If you'd like to have this icon be on your desktop, Start menu, or taskbar, you can do this by creating a shortcut to the Remote Desktop Connection app itself.

To create an icon on your Start menu: click on the Start menu and locate the Remote Desktop Connection app (either by searching or by browsing through All Apps or All Programs). Once you've found it, right-click the icon and choose Pin to Start.

To create an icon on the desktop: click on the Start menu and locate the Remote Desktop Connection app (either by searching or by browsing through All Apps or All Programs). Once you've found it, right-click the icon and choose Open File Location. This will open a window showing you several shortcuts, including the one for Remote Desktop Connection. From here, you can copy the shortcut to your desktop - for example, you can hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and drag the icon with your mouse to the desktop and release both your mouse button and the CTRL button - this will create a copy of the shortcut.

You can also copy the shortcut by right-clicking and choosing Copy and then right-clicking your desktop and choosing Paste.

You can also copy the shortcut by selecting it and pressing CTRL+C on your keyboard (this will copy the shortcut), then click on your desktop and press CTRL+V (this will paste the copy to your desktop).

Once the icon is on your desktop, if you'd like to rename it so it says "TurboLaw Cloud" instead of "Remote Desktop Connection," you can right-click the icon and choose Rename.

To create an icon on your taskbar: click on the Start menu and locate the Remote Desktop Connection app (either by searching or by browsing through All Apps or All Programs). Once you've found it, click on it to open it - but do not click Connect yet. Once the icon for the program appears on your task bar, right-click the icon on the task bar and choose Pin to Taskbar.
