When creating documents for a case, you receive an unexpected error message. The error message may list the error number as 4198 and the description as "command failed." The document may then open, but none of the information will be filled in.
This error is caused by having a trial version of Microsoft Office on your computer, but the trial has expired. When a trial version of Microsoft Office expires, certain functions become disabled, and TurboLaw uses some of these functions to fill out documents. Because of this, when the trial expires, TurboLaw can no longer fill out documents correctly.
To resolve this problem, either install a non-trial version of Microsoft Office, or go online and purchase a license for the trial version that you have on your computer to convert it into a full non-trial version.
