Compile Error in Hidden Module "RegModule" when opening TurboLaw Documents

When opening TurboLaw Documents you receive an error message saying "Compile Error in Hidden Module" and the error message references "RegModule."

This problem can occur if you are using the 64-bit edition of Microsoft Office (for Windows), or if you are using the Mac version of Microsoft Office.

TurboLaw (and Microsoft) recommend that users install the 32-bit edition of Microsoft Office (even if you have a 64-bit computer) unless you specifically need the features of the 64-bit edition:

"For example, this additional capacity is needed only by those Microsoft Excel users who require Excel spreadsheets that are larger than 2 gigabytes (GB). The 32-bit version of Office 2010 provides the same functionality and is also compatible with 32-bit add-ins. Therefore, the 32-bit version of Office 2010 is installed by default."

You can read Microsoft's official statement regarding the 64-bit edition of Office 2010 by clicking here. You can also view Microsoft's instructions on how to tell which edition of Microsoft Office you have.

To resolve this problem for Windows users, uninstall the 64-bit edition of Microsoft Office and install the 32-bit edition.

To resolve this problem for Mac users, click "Disable Macros" when opening the document.
